Zachary brewer

Zachary Brewer has been involved with Rocky Mountain Rail Society since 2006 and has served as Treasurer since 2011.  Working with RMRS has allowed Zachary to merge long-standing interests in historical preservation and steam technology with his current “day job” in the railroad industry, working as a Conductor and Locomotive Engineer in Revelstoke, B.C.  For Zachary, volunteering is a great way to participate in community development and raise awareness of the industrial and social history that connects all Canadians.  The 6060 is both an inspiring artefact of Canadian technological innovation and an object of emotional attachment for those who experience it in operation, and Zachary hopes to continue contributing to the Rocky Mountain Rail Society’s efforts to preserve and interpret the locomotive for future generations.
